The United States and its International Partners are about to embark upon a journey of historic proportions. Assembly and operation of the International Space Station (ISS) will begin in 1998, ushering in a new era of space exploration and research.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) presents the Fifth Annual International Space Station Teleconference: Open for Business.

This live and interactive satellite program will give you current information on space research and commercialization of the space industry. The teleconference was designed with a new format for an adult scientific and technical audience including: research and development professionals; international scientists and researchers affiliated with universities, hospitals, government agencies, commercial organizations; business representatives with biomedical or pharmaceutical interests; engineers; college and university students and educators.
